Wholesaling, Distribution and Consignment Stock

This entails wholesaling and distributing to pharmacies in Bulgaria & Romania whilst also holding consignment stocks on
behalf of major International principals.

S&D Pharma Romania was established in March 2003 and is amongst the top 25 wholesalers in the territory. The Company acts as a wholesaler to over 700 Romanian pharmacies, is a key importer of international products and currently has over 90 employees. The main distribution hub is in Bucharest with regional depots covering the major population centres. The product portfolio currently includes approximately 1500 products (pharmaceuticals, medical devices and cosmetics). There is also a large consignment stock containing goods from a number of major international principals.

S&D Pharma Bulgaria was established in 1997 and has 60 full-time employees. The Company is managed by the ex-Director of the state controlled distribution organization and has a network of depots covering the major population centers. Owing to the size of the consignment stock in Sofia it is housed separately to the wholesaling depots in a stand-alone cGMP warehouse in one of Sofia’s newly-constructed business parks.
